Yin Yoga is a style of Hatha yoga in which passive seated and supine asanas (yoga postures) are held for an extended amount of time (1-5 minutes) in order to access deeper layers of fascia. It is a practice of “undoing” that uses meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) to enter a deep conscious relaxation while the body is at ease. This class is suitable for almost all fitness levels and will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Class Time: Wednesday 4:30pm – 5:30pm

5 Technical Skills Students Will Learn: Connective tissue stretching, meditation, breathing techniques, deep relaxation, muscle release
