Christine L. Amabile is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who currently works full time in Chesterfield County Schools. Her previous work experience includes providing child and family therapy in private practice, community services board, in home and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings over the past 20 years. She is a founding board member and committee chair of the Virginia based nonprofit charity, PANS Research and Advocacy Initiative. She is listed as a treatment provider on the national PANDAS Network, is a member of the national PANDAS Physician Network, as well as a contributing member of the PANDAS Network Educational Access Group. She has presented on PANDAS within her community to professionals as well as at a national conference. She also recently authored several chapters in a PANDAS Handbook for Parents being published in the Fall of 2018. She developed and produced the special educational feature on the documentary titled My Kid Is Not Crazy: A Search for Hope in the Face of Misdiagnosis.
